GHG’s projects, using advanced remote sensing technology, are demonstrating the potential for an operational satellite data service that can help accelerate climate action programs. As methane emissions have received more attention and the energy sector must develop new methodology and techniques to reduce the total CH4 emission, putting pressure on company stakeholders. This global concern emerges for new technologies and enables space for new applications, where the UAS will be utilized and takes major contribution in the LDAR (leak detection and repair) service. The team’s main goal is to provide a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) based LDAR service, focusing on the energy industry, and to provide its stakeholders with highly accurate data to pinpoint, quantify and track CH4 emissions, supporting the clients to take active countermeasures to eliminate the unwanted methane leaks.
